GDC has a long history of giving back to the local community, by supporting worthwhile causes and by contributing to the neighbourhoods in which we live and work.
On October 18 th-19 th2016, the company donated a significant amount of school supplies and didactic materials to various schools located in the vicinity of the Logbaba gas plant. Out of the 7 nursery and primary schools identified in the area, the following 4 schools were selected based on need and proximity:
- LA PREVOYANCE Primary School
- NYABE BAMBINOS Bilingual Nursery and Primary School
- NOTRE SOLLICITUDE Primary School
- LES ARCHANGES Bilingual Nursery and Primary School
Some of the materials provided and distributed among the schools for the 2016/2017 academic year include: White and colour chalk, rims of A4 paper, dictionaries, folders, assorted pens and pencils, rulers and board dusters. With this scholastic donation, GDC aspires to raise the standard of basic education and improve the quality of the learning experience in the Logbaba area.
